…a total of 11 provinces centered on Gaziantep were shaken by a devastating earthquake, which left many people dead, injured and homeless. This earthquake has deeply shaken us all. After such a natural disaster, hundreds of people gathered in Kadikoy Municipality and became volunteers. As a result of their work, the Istanbul Solidarity Volunteers organization was born, a group of dedicated people who worked tirelessly to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake. Their efforts included delivering packages to relief collection sites, coordinating that relief, and helping to build shelters for delivery to the disaster area.
